Operations Superintendent job position which is specializing in Engineering - Oil / Gas is offered on Full Time basis. Job description

    The person shall possess minimum Diploma in relevant engineering course with more than ten (10) years experience in underwater inspection and maintenance work OR



    The person shall possess valid Air or Saturation Diving Supervisor Certification of training from recognized diving school or a certificate of competence from a recognized authority (i.e. IMCA or ADCI) with more than three (3) years experience in underwater inspection and maintenance work OR



    The person shall possess valid CSWIP 3.4U Certification with a minimum of seven (7) years experience in related underwater inspection and maintenance work of which three (3) years must be in supervisory OR



    The person shall posses valid Air or Saturation Diver Certification of training from recognized diving school or a certificate of competence from a recognized authority (i.e. IMCA, ADCI and etc) with more than seven (7) years experience in related underwater inspection and maintenance work.



    The person shall be familiar with all types of diving and ROV operations and be able to transcribe the progress of the WORKS as reported to him into clear reports written in good English. The person will have attended courses in first aid and cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and NDT.



    The person shall be conversant with the use of computers in inspection and reporting of the WORKS offshore.



    The Operations Superintendent shall be the person in overall charge of the WORKS at the WORKSITE. The person shall be responsible to ensure that all operations are carried out in accordance with the specified procedures, the CONTRACTOR's Manual of safe diving practices and the CONTRACT. The person shall be appointed in writing by the CONTRACTOR and shall have adequate knowledge of the diving techniques and equipment to be used in the diving operations for which the person is so appointed. The Operations Superintendent shall work closely with the COMPANY Site Representative to ensure timely completion of all WORKS ordered by COMPANY.



    During an operation, the Operations Superintendent shall monitor progress, brief and de-brief his inspection and reporting team during shift changes, update instructions as to inspection works and keep the COMPANY Site Representative advised of the progress of the WORKS at all times.



    The Operations Superintendent shall be responsible for ensuring that proper records are maintained and that all required reports are prepared accurately and submitted to the COMPANY Site Representative for approval.
