Our Client, a METHANOL CHEMICALS COMPANY (MCC). A SAUDI JOINT STOCK COMPANY. It is a major producer and international supplier of premium grade Formaldehyde/Derivative Products over the years. It operates a State-of-the-Art Petrochemical Complex based on world renowned process technologies.

Our Client is currently executing the following Backward Integration/Forward Expansion projects, which are in advanced stages of completion.

1. Methanol/Carbon Monoxide Plant.
2. Methylamines/Di Methyl Formamide Plant.
3. Pentaerythritol Plant.
4. Acetaldehyde Plant.
5. Formaldehyde Expansion Plant

Our Client operates its plants through most modern DCS Control System and the entire business operations are connected through SAP based ERP package. Our Client is ISO 9000 certified and is in the process of obtaining ISO 14000 certification.

Its administrative policies, HR development programmes and ERP Systems are developed and administered in a most efficient, competent and transparent manner to attract, retain, motivate and develop a highly qualified and competent global workforce.

Its current workforce is around 225 employees predominantly from Asian/Middle Eastern Region.

Our Client requires the following highly qualified and competent workforce for its various plants being built under the expansion plan. Candidates having work experience in above mentioned plants would be preferred.

Plant Operator

Plant Operator job position which is specializing in Engineering - Chemical is offered on Normal Hours/Contracts basis. Job description

The candidate should have an excellent experience in plant operations and should have ability to recognize process upsets and respond accordingly. He should possess sound knowledge of Start up and Operation of Static equipment and Rotary equipment like Pumps, Compressors etc. He should be aware of safety norms in Industrial operations and should have good communication skills.

Responsibilities involve:

Smooth and steady operation of the plant from DCS and field.

To work as per instructions of the shift supervisor.

Job requirements

Minimum education level :	Diploma level
Study field :	Engineering - Chemical or equivalent
Required skill(s) :	There is no value added skill required
Working experience :	7 years

Diploma in Chemical Engineering or Bachelors Degree in Science, with 7-10 years of experience in the operation of Petrochemical Plants.

Experience in the operation of Ammonia / Methanol Plants, Methylamines-Dimethyl Formamide Plants, Acetaldehyde-Penta Erythritol Plants is desirable. Candidates should be conversant with DCS operations.
