Job description

    An open cast copper/cobalt mine in the Democratic Republic of the Congo has a 3-year contract residential vacancy for a Financial Manager with extensive experience. The salary will be competitive with a person of the right level of experience and competence, fully taxable with the potential to earn the same again in terms of a bonus.



    REQUIREMENTS:



    Essential:

    1. Must be able to speak French

    2. Must possess a CA qualification;

    3. Minimum of 10 – 15 years experience in the mining industry

    · Computer literacy and strong financial accounting skills

    · A strong business acumen

    · Excellent report writing skills

    · Leadership skills, with the ability to form part of a strong team

    · Must be hands on and be able to start the Financial Management Department from scratch



Job requirements

 
Minimum education level : Bachelors Degree level
Study field : Banking / Financial Services or equivalent
Required skill(s) : 1. Must be able to speak French; Possess a CA qualification; Minimum of 10 years mining experience
Working experience : 10 years

    · Supply Chain Management

    · Financial Management

    · Company Legal Matters

    · Human Resources Management
