Network Engineer

Job available in Malaysia

Network Engineer job position which is specializing in IT / Computer - Network / System / Database Admin is offered on Full Time basis. There are 2 vacancies available immediately in the organization offered by Yen Maseri Ariel dotCom, which located in Malaysia. Minimum qualification for this job position is having at least Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology. Applicant must also have minimum of 3 years working experience in the related field. There is no value added skill will be required.

Job description


    • Ensure all network devices are functioning to optimum states, provide recommendations for improvement and adhere to network security aspect.

    • Provide network capacity and sizing, utilisation and availability to ensure all network devices performed optimum state and availability targets are achieved.

    • Working together with Architects end-to-end for any project assigned.

    • Ensure all network and security are well covered within the project execution.

    • Ability to negotiate with Vendors on contract and any documentation preparation.

    • Responsible for various network projects, recommending solutions to network related issues and problems.



Job requirements

 
Minimum education level : Bachelors Degree level
Study field : Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
Required skill(s) : There is no value added skill required
Working experience : 3 years



    • Candidate must possess at lease a Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Telecommunications Network or equivalent.

    • Candidate with firewall certification from CheckPoint, and/or Juniper Network would be an added advantage.

    • Candidate with F5 Load-Balancer, Steel Belt Radius, Packeteer packets shaper hands-on setup and troubleshooting skills or certification would definitely an added advantage.

    • Have sound knowledge and hands-on experience with OSPF and BGP routing skills.

    • Sound knowledge in network routing and switching troubleshooting skills, network security, capacity sizing & planning.

    • Must have experience in router and switch installation, configuration and troubleshooting in large Enterprise network in multi-protocol environment.

    • Be ready to work odd and long hours to meet timeline.
